It appears that something within "C:\Users\\Documents\DayZ" was corrupted and Steam was reinstalling the corrupted file every time I reinstalled it. I'm archiving the folders to my Google Drive in case I have this problem again. I turned off Steam Cloud saves and I copied the contents of "C:\Users\\AppData\local\DayZ" and "C:\Users\\Documents\DayZ" from the working PC to the broken one. UPDATE (Solved): I had a working version running on another PC. I see a lot of similar errors posted around the internet, but I have yet to see a definitive solution. I tried specifying different servers in the launcher. I checked that all drivers are up to date. I have wiped and reinstalled Windows, Steam, DayZ, DirectX, and Nvidia drivers. i click play dayz then select the launcher option so i can load the mods required for the server, then the launcher opens up but then crashes after a few seconds and closes down.
